Mode

The StepWatch operates in three different states. Through Advanced Programming, you can explicitly set it to any of the states. The Advanced Programming screen will always open with Record set as the default. The Mode pop-up menu allows you to select the other states.

Record
If you want your StepWatch to record data when it is started, be sure you set the Mode pop-up menu to Record.

Sleep
You can explicitly put your StepWatch to sleep by choosing Sleep from the Mode pop-up menu, then clicking the Start button. You do not normally need to put your StepWatch to sleep, because reading the data automatically puts it to sleep. Putting the StepWatch to sleep does not erase the data from your last trial.

Test
This should be used only with the guidance of tech support personnel.
